Snow and Ice and Shoveling, oh my!

One of the many piles from our church parking lot. About 7 or 8 feet high.

A chunk of ice my brother and I dug out from around our mailbox.

The pile of snow (left) that we removed from the steps.

And yours truly, holding holding a chunk of ice.

It can be fun, we got it on wednessday and I finally got to sled tonight. It was really slick! Yeah that pile was that high. And some others were too. Tomorrow were thinking about digging tunnels.
Yeah Abby, its really cold. it went up too 25 today but it hasn't been that warm. If you can even call that warm.
I know what you mean Beth, I've been shoveling ice and snow for the past 3 days. But I'm getting paid so it ain't to bad.

That's quite some snow...impressive! Glad you did well on my quiz. :D Dirtbiking sure is sweet, isn't it? What kind of dirtbike do you have, or do you have one?

God bless,
Allegra

I would want to have a fast, cool-looking, impressive sounding one. I don't know what kind though.

Cool...BTW, your drawings are pretty awesome! :-) I always wished I had artistic talent...we joke that Brenden (my younger bro) stole all the family talent though. :-P

An impressive-sounding dirtbike is always a plus...ours isn't very.

I am on a debate team...sort of. You see, we're Christian homeschooled kids and are part of the NCFCA (National Christian Forensics and Communication Association), which is (as the name might imply) a national organization. Here in my state, we have our own club, called Peak Communicators, which is made up of about 15 kids. Check out their website (http://ncfca.org) for more information, if it sounds interesting. Thanks for asking!

God bless,
Allegra

However, I'm ready for summer now.
Especially since all it does around here is get really cold and never snow.

Dude, you need some good conversation. Hmmmm.....

I've got it! Nifty words! I like saying squeeg. Oooh, and francisco.

Have you ever seen Elf? It's one of our favorites. We laugh so hard! There are so many good quotes from that movie.

K, sorry if this doesn't work, but I'm not really in my groove this morning.

I love Elf, its an awesome movie. Its got some stuff in it that could have been left out but it still is a pretty cool movie. Yeah I'm ready for summer too. This snow is not a new thing anymore. I like the warmer weather.

I like the word characteristic. It's fun to say, but even better to spell.
